THANK YOU ALL AND LET’S PUSH FOR $100K
There’s no word that could express our gratitude to all of you. In just four weeks, we raised well over $50,000 for frontline women in India to meet their immediate needs. This person-to-person, community-to-community campaign is only possible because hundreds of you saw the need and acted. If you haven’t already, we encourage to watch the recording from the live field report on May 11. You’ll get to hear firsthand how the frontline women have been working in their communities providing much needed relief to the villages. With all your support with us, we’re taking the bold step towards raising $100,000 to extend even more support to more frontline women, to more families, to more villages in India. We hope that you’ll continue to help us spread the word to even more people to join our team to bring more support to frontline women in India.
Thank you again!

LET'S RAISE MORE FOR FRONTLINE WOMEN IN INDIA
As Covid continues to challenge and change the landscape of India, we have a renewed necessary goal to raise $100,000 to use in the next two months (half of which we hope to be able to raise through this GoFundMe page). Our community based response is providing timely relief to affected communities, reducing the pressure on the local health centres and hospital system by providing immediate interventions including: (1) Home Care; (2) Village-Based Isolation Units; and (3) Emergency Health and Medical Intervention.

THANK YOU TO ALL THE DONORS!!
Thank you to all the donors!! In less than a week, we managed to raise more than $20,000 from a range of different channels. More than half of that came from this GoFundMe page. We’re beyond grateful to see you all come through.
We’ve been working hard behind the scene this past week. We’re pleased to let you know that this fundraising effort is now coordinated by IGINP Canada and Dharma in Motion (in the US), in partnership with the Mahatma Gandhi Canadian Foundation for World Peace (in Edmonton), the Gandhi Peace Project at McMaster University (in Hamilton, Ontario) and also the Mahatma Gandhi Peace Council of Ottawa. This is the first time the different Gandhian organizations in Canada are working together. We’re very excited to expand the outreach of this campaign to more and more people through all the partner organizations.
Thanks to you all, we'll be sending $7,000 to MGSA tomorrow/Sat. Together with the $2,500 already sent by Dharma in Motion, MGSA will be able to get more food and supplies to the frontline women in in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh Bihar, Jarkhand and Orissa.
We invite you to join us on Tuesday May 11 at 12 noon (Eastern) to hear from MGSA about what's going on. Further details on this will be posted as an update later on.
Until then, please share this with your networks and encourage them to give.
